Contracts

You can consult the list of contracts worth at least $25,000 awarded by La Cité by visiting the Quebec government’s electronic tendering system.

In response to MAMROT’s requirements, as set out in the memorandum of understanding between MAMROT and La Cité, La Cité signed an agreement with Infrastructure Québec, the government’s agent, to call on the expertise of Infrastructure Québec. This agreement covers, among other things, the preparation of the business case to be approved by the Secrétariat du Conseil du trésor, and participation in the advisory committee.

Agreement by which Ville de Laval undertakes to La Cité, among other things, to transfer by deed of emphyteusis the land required for the project, to assist La Cité in its efforts to ensure the project’s success, and to support La Cité financially.

For its part, La Cité undertakes, among other things, to implement the multifunctional complex, to present the project and support it in obtaining financial assistance, and to collaborate with the private sector for the management, maintenance and operation of the multifunctional complex.

Deed by which the City transfers to La Cité the right to make full use of the land belonging to the City and to build on it the structures and works necessary for the pursuit of its objectives. The term of the emphyteusis is 40 years.

L’Aréna was selected from among the bidders to manage, maintain and operate the amphitheatre in the multifunctional complex. The Partnership Agreement provides the contractual framework for the partnership between l’Aréna and La Cité, and sets out the duties, responsibilities and obligations of the parties.
